The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics, in association with Jesus College, proposes to appoint a Lecturer in Linguistics with a specialism in Semantics and Pragmatics from 1 October 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be offered a Fellowship in Linguistics at Jesus College (the College Fellowship has no additional teaching duties).
Applications are accepted for D Phil only up to 12 March 2010. However, any applicants who wish to be considered for AHRC or Clarendon Funding MUST apply by 20 February 2010.

From the end of July to the third week in September, the Oxford University Language Centre runs two four-week courses (which together make an eight-week course) providing intensive English practice for international students whose first language is not English. Our courses are aimed at postgraduate students.
