We are pleased to announce that LingO 2007, the second Oxford Linguistics
Postgraduate Conference, will take place at St. Anne's College, University
of Oxford, on 21st-22nd September 2007. The aim of the conference is to
provide postgraduates with an opportunity to present their research to
peers and the wider academic community.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts
for talks or poster presentations. Abstracts are invited from any linguistic
subfield, especially the fields of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax,
semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and computational
linguistics.
Talks will be allotted 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for
discussion. Authors presenting posters will have an opportunity to do
so during the poster session on the second day of the conference. Authors
