Research interests: Theoretical and biological foundations of language with special interest in the mechanisms underlying the production and comprehension of the Spanish language. In particular, the neural circuitries which control the initiation, interval and final verbal timing. The genetic causes of language disorders in development. The correlation between acquired language impairment and compensatory underlying mechanisms. Aspects of visual responses to language (synaesthesia).
