Lector in Romanian

Thanks to the kind assistance of Institutul Limbii Române (the Institute of the Romanian Language) in Bucharest, we hope to be able to announce very shortly the appointment of a Lector in Romanian, in the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Linguistics. As of next October, there will be regular classes for Oxford students in Romanian language, and the option (within the Modern Languages FHS) of offering a special subject ('Paper XII') in Romanian language and linguistics.
