Research

My research interests include formal syntax, phonology, and their interface. For my DPhil dissertation, I am investigating a Chinese dialect called Wenzhounese, where prosodic constraints seem to filter out syntactically well-formed structures.

I primarily work within Lexical Functional Grammar (LFG), a non-derivational framework with a modular, parallel architecture.
