Hanne Eckhoff works on historical Slavonic linguistics, especially Old Church Slavonic and the history of Russian. She has been involved in several large-scale digital corpus projects, and runs and maintains the Tromsø Old Russian and OCS Treebank (TOROT).  She is especially interested in verbal aspect and information structure phenomena, as well as historical morphosyntax, and also publishes on computational and methodological topics related to her corpus work.
