Research interests:
Syntax, syntactic theory (particularly Lexical-Functional Grammar), information structure, typology, linguistic interfaces and interface phenomena, tag constructions (form, function, and history), British English dialects, prosody (experimental investigation, theory)

Teaching:
I primarily teach Grammatical Analysis and Syntax at undergraduate level (Modern Language and Linguistics; Psychology, Philosophy and Linguistics) and postgraduate levels. I also offer courses exploring how syntax interfaces with other aspects of linguistic structure.
