We are glad to announce the V Catalan Linguistics at Oxford Day - CLOx27, which will bring together researchers in the linguistics of Catalan to discuss their research and encourage collaboration amongst all those working on this language, post-holders, early career researchers, or students, in a friendly and productive atmosphere. The meeting will be held in the historical Taylor Institution Library, and will feature an invited talk delivered by Eulàlia Bonet (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).

The topic of CLOx27 is phonology and its interfaces. As such, we invite proposals on any aspect of Catalan phonology or its interfaces with other components: phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, or pragmatics. We welcome contributions with well-defined perspectives: theoretical, descriptive, dialectological, synchronic/diachronic, sociolinguistic, experimental, or language-acquisition/learning. Comparative work involving other languages is also possible as long as Catalan constitutes the main object of study.
